A University of California, San Francisco, study has revealed that BPA, a chemical found in plastics, is affecting women’s fertility.
The UPI news outlet reported this month about the study that showed the chemical found in many daily household products and kitchenware is significantly lowering the quality of eggs retrieved for in vitro fertilization.
“While preliminary, the data indicate the negative effect of BPA on reproductive health and the importance of allocating more funding to further investigate why such environmental contaminants might be disrupting fertility potential,” said Dr. Victor Fujimoto, the lead study author, the UPI reported.

The test involved 26 women and according to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, BPA, or “Bisphenol A is an endocrine disruptor with estrogenic properties that can adversely affect meiotic spindle assemblies.”
BPA is found in plastic and cans used in a variety of kitchen products, including plastic baby bottles, canned beverages, and dishware.
This constant exposure to the chemical through leaching from kitchen containers and utensils may be playing a significant role in childhood allergies, decreased sperm quality, early puberty, as well as many effects on the body’s endocrine system. And there are theories that link the chemical to various cancers.

Several states in the U.S. have banned the use of BPA and several major manufacture companies are doing the same, but it could be in as much as every home. UC San Francisco has launched an online resource called Toxic Matters to help educate the public about the products they buy. (http://www.prhe.ucsf.edu/prhe/toxicmatters.html) You can also find help at www.healthystuff.org.
BPA affects the body by interfering with the hormones throughout the endocrine system and can influence every body function. Studies have found that even wild animals have been affected by the chemical and it has created intersex fish, multiple reproductive organs in frogs and bears that are hermaphrodites.

It is best to avoid using plastics with your foods, including containers, plasticware and plates. Instead, use glass containers and ceramic dishes and silverware. Avoid plastic wraps and microwavable containers. Don’t use plastic in the microwave as it is suspected to speed leaching.

Also, beware of cans, as they are often lined with the plastic chemical and avoid bottled water.
Search for BPA-free products as more and more distributors are labeled free of the dangerous chemical.
Baby bottles companies such as Philips Avent, Disney First Years, Gerber, Dr. Brown, Playtex and Evenflow, have said that they have stopped making bottles with BPA.

Healthy Babies

When I first started touring (20 years ago) and talking on nutrition and electronic acupressure at various event around the world I attacted a lareg number of veterinarians and breeders of pedigree animals. I was surprised at first but when I go to talk with them I realized that this two groups were experts in the subject. They had always known how to get the best pedigree offsprings by careful mating and ensuring perfect foods and supplements for the parents. They were only listening to me for the new things that I could bring to their attention and especially electronic acupressure.

The experts (breeders and veterinarians) knew that to get healthy pedigree offsprings they needed to:

Give extra super nutrition to the female and the male before procreation.

After Procreation they would give extra super nutrition to the female for the gestation period. (definitely no cream cakes

After the offspring was born the female would be given extra super nutrition while she was feeding her young.

When she stopped feeding her young the breeders would ensure the best food was available for this youngster that everyone had invested so much time and money to be the best possible.

What is this to do with healthy babies?
It became apparent to me that the careful plan that was applied to producing healthy pedigree offsprings was not taken on board when it came to human babies. Even the breeders and the veterinarians did not apply the same principle to their own families. I used to joke saying which is worst, giving a cream cake to a pregnant mare or their pregnant woman. Each time they would say the mare until we discussed it and they thought about it.

The fact is we treat animals better than we treat the creation of our pedigree children. It wasn’t many years ago that the death rate of women and children was extremely high in the west with poor pre and anti natal care. Now that is resolved with better food, sanitation, clean water, midwife care and medical monitoring.

The problem now is that this is being undone by:

Junk food

Lack of nutrients in all foods (junk food and even organic) as a result of over-farming and natural erosion.

Not taking a full spectrum of nutrients to compensate for this.

Insufficient midwife facilities

Medical doctors giving out wrong advice about food and nutrition due to zero training (except that that is sponsored by Processed food manufacturers).

Men’s sperm is is dropping on the junk western diet. Women are suffering numerous gyny problems and children are getting sicker and sicker.

Why would we do this to ourselves and our children but not to our pedigree animals?
